Photographer’s Note

I love when the neighborhood kids play basketball in our cul-de-sac. I have a really nice lens that pretty much goes to waste because it's wonderful for action shots. It's just too heavy to lug around for general photography. So when they play I use it to figure out my settings and try to catch the ball in mid-air. :)) Like in this shot. It was mad windy that day, but the light was great. Hope you enjoy it.

IU have one smiliar with the ball in air but it,s only soccer game ,not basketball!!!!

Hi Shelly,

This is a great telephoto shot. I like it. The moment is full of life, like the tips of the thrower's shoes and the action in the hands of both participants in this play. Also, the position of the net tells the viewer how windy it was. Well done.

belle photo de ces jeunes qui jouent au basket baal.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté malgrés le mouvement des joueurs.
Bon POV et moment décisif ou ce ballon est dans la partie montante, on ne sait si il va entrer ou pas.

It is great to kids depicted playing sport and not as trouble makers, as the father of two young men this is how I see my sons enjoying themselves. The colour's are nice and contrasting and the details great well done.
