Magnolia cemetery is a faded beauty. In it's prime it was landscaped with gardens and flowers. You had to have money to be buried here, and the more money you had the more your plot was decorated. Back in the day this wrought iron fence would have been spectacular, a sign of wealth. Today it barely stands up, waiting for the next storm to push it over. Isolated, in an area of brown grass.

A fantastic image in black and white, the fence leads perfectly into the scene. And it does look like a lavish fence too, fine details on all parts of it, but the ravage of time is taking its toll and it does look close to collapse. Just like the inhabitants here, all things come to pass, even the splendor of this once great place.
Its a strange thing to see the gradual death of a cemetery.
