Photographer’s Note
this is another sunset picture i took when i was at Oklahoma. like i said before, there is beautiful sunset this great plain. it is totally a flat land! u can see far away and nothing, even no trees block your view. also, there are lots plants on this land, and cattle too. beautiful sunset is the most enjoyment for me when i live over there.

Hi Jean Paul. Nice capture. Wonderful colours and good composition. I love the way you have used focus to abstract this shot and capture just the essence of the land. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Have a good week, Paul.

Hello,
Quelle ambiance, une image sur-réaliste, quel bel effet, et des couleurs mangigiques, superbe.
Bravo et amitié

Jean I read somewhere that Oklahoma is flatter than a pancake. I guess this affords a photographer like you to capture some interesting effects near the end of the day. Good backlighting effect here bringing a strong variety between the bright and dark portions of this photo. Actually I am unclear what process you used here but the result is effective. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Jean Paul,
It is a very beautiful interpretation of dry spices in the sunset. The gradation of the forms and the vaguenesses is extraordinary. The background really looks like a fire. I like these small spots of blue which approach slowly towards the foreground. A very beautiful conversation between photo and painting. We are not far from the impressionism.
Congratulations!

Hello JeanPaul, an interesting shot with lovely colours and textures.
I like the dark area in the foreground, it adds depth.
I don't know how you reached this picture, but I like it a lot.
Well done.
Regards Jean.

It could be the sea, a field... It looks like wheat or worm... Quite strange.
A good close up compo, full of sun and warmth. Full of mystery too !!

Hi JeanPaul,
when I have seen this photo I have immediately thought about the impressionism of a picture of Van Gogh, because it is a very creative image and with an artistic touch.
It is a strange, strong capture and that catches the eye easily. The light and the colors of the sunset help to create an interesting atmosphere.
I think that it is a magnificent work, although this is not valued.
Best regards,
Josep
