Another picture from the Invisible Children Global Night Commute, probably in my opinion the best of the set. To read more about the event, please see Global Night Commute 1.
This was taken somewhere in northern Moore or southern Oklahoma City as the group of approximately 90 students finished out the day. After the massive storm that had delayed us earlier, most of us were still wet and were very cold.
As we got further into the city travel became increasingly difficult--stoplights seperated us, sidewalks narrowed or even ceased to exist, and traffic picked up. When this picture was taken we were about five or six miles from completing our 21 mile journey. |
