While driving along the beach-side raod going from Oak Island to Richmond i saw this stunning sight. unfortunatly i had to take the photo out the window while the car was still in motion, but over all I think it turned out ok.

Hello Kristina,
Welcome to TE! Please allow me to give you a few pointers using this photo as an example. The first thing is the tilt of the horizon. It is slanting a bit to the left. If you have photo software on your computer, you will probably find the option to straighten it.
The second point has to do with composition. I am sure this is a beautiful spot, and thanks for wanting to share it with us. In this particular photo there is no main subject, or focal point. Usually something, such as a lighthouse, or people, will be used as a subject to pull our eyes in. I read your note, and since you were in a car it probably wasn't possible for this photo, but maybe next time! :-)
I hope you don't mind my ideas. I don't want to sound negative, just helpful! :-) Keep shooting! :-)
