Photographer’s Note
Cataloochie is an old village that the residents had to leave when the US took their land for The Great Smokey Mountains National Park. You have to walk a mile to get to this house. When returned from the walk the elk that were reintroduced around 2001 were out. In this picture you can see right through the dog trot. You can go through all the buildings on your own.
