This is probably something you've never seen before, a house made out of bottles. The artist, Mary Paulsen lives just outside Holden Beach, North Carolina. She placed a layer of bottles and then covered it with a narrow layer of cement and then another layer of bottles, leaving room for the door and windows. Local stores and restaurants collect bottles for her to use in her creations. Donations from those who visit are given to children's charities. You can Google her to see more of her work. On her property she has built doll houses and has a huge treehouse filled with odds and ends. It's an experience.

I had difficulty with the lighting because of the window and the dark areas of the photo. Any suggestions? Thanks.
