Photographer’s Note

The Sports Bar-Restaurant has become popular with the wide availability of flat-screen TV’s. Here, we have nine screens on one wall! We had an additional two screens above our table. There were no less than 16 screens in this one room! It seems to me there is a “screen war” going on (similar to the “pixel war” in photography). Where will it stop?

Hi Randy!
What a terrible place, what an insane idea - a restaurant with all these screens. Eating and drinking degenerate to a minor matter. Why people are going there? I would go mad there within 5 minutes. An intersting contribution to TE and a hint where the so called civilization is going to ...

Hi Randy,
A very interesting shot, absolutely suited to be posted on TE. The note is interesting too...and so is your corresponence wih Frank. It seems that we live in two very different worlds. Here in Europe you may find a TV-screen in a pub or a bar, but that is where it stops. In a lot of families it is still considered unhealthy to eat and watch TV at the same time although I can understand that kids will tell me that it is fun.
