Photographer’s Note
This is the Lucky Strike stack in Durham, NC near the Durham Bulls ballpark. They built around this tower and placed restaurants and taverns just recently, to help with the renovating of this small, quiet city.
This photo was taken near the base of the stack to capture the overhead walkway.

This is neat Jaime, good industrial shot, bw fits it quite well.
If I had a choice I would change the bottom a bit, there is a small portion of rail sticking out in the lower left corner, IMO it's too close to the edge, so the solution would be to crop it off. I actually think that more something at the bottom would close the triangle nicely (roof of a building, rail, etc etc).
Nice shot.

A very esthetical shot with some nice lines.
I like the use of b&w to show this huge ciggy.
I wonder how can we open restaurants next to a ciggy firm...

I like this graphical shot Jaime. Very esthetic. I would have tried a tighter cropp but it remains a good one. Thanks for sharing !

Hi Jaime,
Great shot. I love the B&W on this one. I think it is giving the picture some nice contrast. Captured this way, the chimney is actually looking like a sigarette. Nice composition, considering the fact that it's a Lucky Strike chimney :)
I wonder how the picture would look rotated so the chimney is straight. Maybe I'll do a WS on that :)
Anyway, welcome to TE and nice shot!

Remarkable shot, Jaime, these converging lines,
excellent clarity, B/W conversion, and then the whole wacky theme of a huge Lucky Strike stack deep in tobacco country. "Come to where the flavor is...come to" -oops, that's a dfferent brand! I love your short but spot on note as well. best regards, Francis

Lucky you ! simple compo but very effective and graphical. I woul love to see more details from the walkaway.
I would also remove slightly the bottom part.
Thanks,
Al.

Wow, what a great perspective! The opposing diagonals work here too. If I were you, if you are going to print and frame this (and go ahead, it is really a fine piece of photography), crop those two structures jutting out from the bottom of the frame near the Lucky Strike stack. Like everyone said already, b/w works well for this industrial shot. Congratulations!
