Photographer’s Note
University City is a semi-urban area in the northern reaches of Charlotte. It is centered around a "downtown" area located at the intersection of N. Tryon St. and W.T. Harris Blvd., where these shops and restaurants are located.
University City has seen phenomenal growth in the last 15 years. The area is bisected by North Tryon Street and sprawls north to I-77, south past the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
