Photographer’s Note
Charlotte is a very modern and fast growing American city. Unfortunately little has been done to preserve the past. The old is torn down and quickly replaced with the new.
The JFG coffee sign photoed here is one of the few reminders of what this city looked like just fifty years ago. It probably means little to most outsiders but to the few lifetime natives it is something they can relate to that reminds them of what this city once was.
