Photographer’s Note
Two stone lions guard the doors of the Biltmore Estate. Here, one is decorated for Christmas. The Estate is the location of the U.S.'s largest home. It was built by George Vanderbilt from 1889-1895, and the grounds span 8,000 acres currently (down from 125,000). On the grounds are restaurants, a winery and a variety of shops. Pretty impressive location.
