Photographer’s Note
Statue in the gardens of the Biltmore Estate, overlooking the Appalachian mountains. The Estate is the location of the U.S.'s largest home. It was built by George Vanderbilt from 1889-1895, and the grounds span 8,000 acres currently (down from 125,000). On the grounds are restaurants, a winery and a variety of shops. Pretty impressive location.
Lightened foreground and increased contrast in PP.

Composition is nice and the colours of the tree complement that of the statue well. Good that you captured some cloud texture in the sky, but shame that you weren't able to get a bit of background blur on the tree (I would have expected it with f/3.3 but I guess it's a limitation of your camera). The frame isn't my cup of tea, and your .jpg looks to be too compressed, but overall a nice photo.
