A typical Friday evening on the main square in Asheville.
As much fun as it is for me to photograph Ashevillians, it's also fun to capture tourists expressions and reactions to our colorful locals. In this moment, the husband is busy with his cell phone and missing what is wife is seeing. I was actually after the kids, and not the tourists, and shooting from the other side of the street, so I didn't see that I had caught them as well until after I uploaded the shot onto the computer. There is only half of the man in the frame, but as he wasn't paying attention anyway, I don't mind ;)
pls note that for once, all feet have been included! i am listening to you guys :)

I wonder where that woman has spent the last 40 years or so if she is actually shocked at those kids. What she was saying to her absent-minded husband may in fact have been that Asheville kids don't seem to know that punk was declared dead already in the early 80's. Whatever, her surprised face certainly came as a great bonus to this snap-shot. By the way, there is a lot more sharpness available here :-). Please have a look at the WS.
