I like photographs that have a strong storyline potential, whether it is obvious, or one just fills in the details for oneself. And this is one of those.
This was actually taken in my neighborhood, a few blocks away from my house. When I passed by, walking my dogs yesterday, it stopped me in my tracks. What the heck is going on here, I thought, when I saw the dolls. It was even more mystifying when I zoomed in and could see the actual condition of each doll. Someone has been watching too many Chucky films!
I'm not sure the architect and builder envisioned this use of their fencing, but it was intriguing to me for its weird creepiness. I think the sweet little girl who lives here may have a future making horror films ;)

what an utterly macabre scene. I can't believe a kid did that. And if they did? I'd be worried about them. It's really interesting, though. All kinds of different lines, angles, graphics, with those awful dolls stuck in the fence. Dang.... Maybe they're trying to scare someone off... Thanks and best regards,

Someone with a very bizarre sense of humour no doubt. Makes for a most unusual and interesting graphical image. Well spotted and very nicely presented.

Hopefully the naughtiest thing she'll do is make horror movies.
Definitely artistic though.

I have always found dolls disturbing and imagine having one of these staring at you in the home....urk! but these dolls add a dimension to this, no doubt at all. Can't believe it really this has a tinge menacing reminiscent of a horror version of toy story though, a story telling shot of which the fear factor goes of the scale and as usual very effective, well conceived & executed shot...

Maybe even worse than spending a life making horror movies would be to have a future being locked up somewhere. Or maybe the little girl could have a career in voodoo? This is an utterly strange view but it speaks well for your clever eyes that you observed this local horror show. My most serious guess is that it's an installation that will soon be moved to a gallery close to you.

When I saw the title I thought about a reference to the novel and film from the 1960s, but then I opened the thumbnail, I read the note... and laughed a lot with the idea of someone taking revenge on the dolls, because of Chucky movies!
(Or maybe it was a message: "Chucky, better think twice if you want to mess with us").
You have very good eye for detail, and this is a good example of a "photo with a story"

I admire your eye for composition! The straight horizontal and vertical lines set a nice grid for the playful (okay, creepy-playful!) details. A sweet little girl, huh? Keep an eye on that one...

Hi Kristin. Each builds his own little world. In psychology distinguishes between inner and outer worlds. Both worlds belong together.
You suspect that a little girl here shows his world. Maybe the girl has no other toy. But maybe all the characters are very conscious selected. We see only the results and amazed.
Best rgds, Wolfgang.
