Two years ago, with one of my friend, we drove by the Highway 90, in Mississippi to get to New Orleans. It was few months after Hurricane Katrina... we arrived in Ocean Springs, and we discovered the totally destroyed bridge of Biloxi. It was so hard to look at this disaster..
The next year, we drove by Highway 10, and took again the hwy 90 (as we were curious) to have a look of that bridge one year later.. they were building a new one but it was not finished yet!
And this year, going down to mexico, I finally passed over the new bridge! The bridge on the picture is not this one, this is the one after Biloxi, over Bay Saint-Louis just after Pass Christian. It was also destroyed by the hurricane and reopened on May 17, 2007.
I have many pictures of houses destroyed by that hurricane let me know if you're interessed or not at seeing them... I guess that there's already a lot of them!
