Photographer’s Note
The center of Hurricane Katrina passed through my town at 1:00 p.m. on that fateful Monday. This was a picture of a rather large pine tree that had been snapped off just a few feet above the ground. Unfortunately, if you could see the rest of the tree it ended up landing on my neighbor's house.
