Photographer’s Note
Taken just after dawn at the State House in Annapolis, Maryland. This is where George Washington resigned his commission on December 23rd 1783 and was the capital of the US from 1783–1784.
Having flown in from the UK the night before, I was awake early so wandered down to the State House for dawn and hoped for a nice sunrise. It turned out not to be though, as the day started with a full cloud cover. Despite this, it was an unseasonally warm morning and was a very peaceful way to start the day!
As ever let me know what you think, and I'll be uploading a few more from my travels over the next few days.
Cheers
Simon

Simon,
This is a nice long exposure blending the natural and artificial lighting nicely. The clouded sky makes a nice backdrop for the building. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and DOF. The building is framed nicely by the trees helping to focus our attention to it.
TFS,
Asa
