| As mentioned in my last posting, Sika Deer are very well adapted to life on Assategue Island. This Doe seemed to be quite well fed and also seemed to have no intention of being otherwise. Though they are predominately a nocturnal animal, on this day they were everywhere I looked, all feeding steadily. This makes me wonder, do they eat night and day? |

Hi Ned,
Nice shot. This beautiful animal is on the alert. Good colours and texture. I like the blur in the background.
Best Regards,
Leonor
Hi Ned. I guess they eat when they are hungry like the rest of us! ;) I actually forgot about this oddball on Assategue Island, which I've never seen in person. Too bad about the blur. Nice shot Ned.
