Geez, Alan, what a great evening this must have been, your shutter speed is perfect, your have been able to show rapids without going into the silky mode which works very well here, and the play of light is quite frankly stunning. I like the composition, the foreground is busy but not too busy, and it's also where the light plays it's music. You may consider trying to clone out few dead branches in the foreground in the lower right portion, I don't think they add anything (even though they are fact of life), and to some degree take away from this lively scenery, also in the higher part of the image on the left there is a small area of overexposed water, IMO correcting it would make the image spectacular.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Très bon choix du temps d'exposition. Bravo, j'aime beaucoup l'effet final.

Nice view of this river. The good exposition time to have the leaf freezen and the water running.
Well done Alan.

Excellent capture of the silk-like movement of water through the rapids. That dark vein looks like a perfect line for slipping a canoe down through the rocks:-)

Colorful silk in motion. It looked kinda busy with all the leaves and branches, framing the motion. I think you are creating a sense of harried or chaos here. In contrast to some other photographers who'd like to capture a soft/gentle scene.
Nothing much cropping could improve or better this photo. Unless you could totally removed all the foliage framing this river.

The long exposure, the play of light works well in this compo where also the natural framing of the branches is important for the fine result. Very good Alan

Fantastic waterflow effect Alan. It certainly needs 25.0 light entry to the camera. Great picture.

This is fantastic. A real eye opener after the shameful image of Venice Vegas you have here.
