Photographers Note
This is a converted NIR (near infrared) image taken at Great Falls in Maryland. There is some photoshopping, as infrared images usually come out red.
Great Falls is a great place to shoot, the Maryland side being a little more interesting as they have a boardwalk over part of the river (and this falls) to get to the Big set of Falls.

Nice effects. A bit off-trcak colour tonality and thats looks brilliant.

Hi Courtenay,
What a frosty shot !!! The slow shutter speed and the NIR conversion are well thought and give a nice icy texture to the water in the falls. The POV is great. I like the snowed-up leafs too Great job !

Lovely photoshop work - I like the one tone effect. Great water capturing too.

Stunning image, a pleasure to view. Really like the water effect and tone of the image. Enhances the "coldness" of the atmosphere!
