Shanty Town in the Fog Photo

Photographer’s Note

I got up early to take pictures around town. It was VERY foggy, but, I decided to see what I could do given the conditions. Visibilty was very low and light was minimal. I am happy to get the image that I have here. I took loads of pictures to get this one. Shanty Town is a small tourist shopping center that will soon be torn down to make room for very upscale housing.

The fog gives a real atmospheric feeling. I like both the colours and the simple composition.

This is really a nice composition Lynn, but it seems to me to have been compressed too much or too many times, as I seem to see lots of artifacts and noise in the fog.

What a great picture Lynn. It sad to see nice little paces like that disapear for profit. Did a little WS on it to try to get rid of the noise. Hope you like it.
