Photographer’s Note
Frederick, Maryland has a First Saturday every month and for August the theme was "Dog Days of Summer" with lots of events for dogs. We chose to hang out at Frederick Cellars, a winery downtown. Everyone and their dogs mingled amongst the fermenters and barrels.

Hello Daniel,
What a compelling and unusual shot for Trekearth. The note makes it all the more engaging. It is wonderful to find another scientist in the Washington area who is a member of this agonizingly addictive site. (I am a physicist/artist)
