This bold design by Charles Brickbauer is the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) Brown Center. The building houses digital arts programs at the college. The 61,000 square feet of space provides one location for students that had been scattered throughout the campus prior to the project.

those graphic lines are a fine subject for your mono treatment, very well composed and captured from an excellent view point it makes a cracking shot.
The car light trails are a super bonus.Well done.

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you were playing with a super-wide-angle. On opening the image I was pleasantly surprised. The radical shape is architectural and not lens distortion! The monochrome treatment emphasizes the graphic shapes, echoed by the perspective lines of the wall and receding highway. And the time of day was well chosen too: still some definition in the sky, but lights in the building and car light-trails to add contrast and drama. Good work.

HI Dorian, absolutely great this perspective showing us this unique architechture in a very original way,i like your choice of a long time of exposure to create the lines on the road made by the light cars, another top class work! Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello, intriguing how the architect designed the building on such an angle. Good b and w image with so many graphic lines an angles. Excellent tonal quality TFS,

Very efficiently shoot it from the college building, I think you used your tripod due to low light condition and captured the tail light of the car made it a graphic design. An unique and uncommon composition.

These architecture picture is very extraordinary with the building in oblique.
F/11 care for long lines of the cars, I am no great fan of black and white but your picture is very well taken.
Excellent composition, nice picture taken with a nice clarity.
Very well done, TFS.

An amazing building which seems to be caught by an ultra widec angle, but its not the cae if you look at the motorway at right. The picture could have been darker to reinforce the night effect.

Amazing image of an amazing and original building. I like the "graphic dialogue" between the building and the road, with the traces of light enhancing the great sense of depth and the cloudy sky enhancing a dramatic mood. The POV is superb and the BW seems very appropriate.
