Photographer’s Note

Taken from the Chesapeake Bay Beach club - a very nice place to watch the sun go down. This is the forst in a mini series of shots taken from one of the best sunsets I have see in a long time.

Comments and Critique all welcomed - and before someone says, yes it is level the bridge is inclined at this point!

Hello Simon,
Beautiful orange colors and nice composition in this photo. I like the setting sun shining off the water, and the POV leading us from the water to the bridge. The black silhouette of the bridge looks good against the dark orange sky.

I live right on the bay and I love to see photos that represent its beauty so well. Good POV and great job with the amount of sun drenched water in the foreground. The orange tones are captured very well and give a nice sense of warmth.

I've spent a few Summers fishing here with my Dad when he lived in Richmond. Nice capture. Could maybe straighten the bridge a bit.

Hi Simon,
I like the complicated design of the bridge and your long tele usage, spreading the reflections all over the image.
But the colors look rather monochrome. Filter of PP?
