Critiques [Translate]
No words - pisze w notce. Czyli co mam qr*a na pisać? Już się zaczynam gubić, patrzę co grube ramy dziś kryją... i nadal łeb pusty. No words... No vision. Ki Ch*j w tych ramach stoi? A raczej idzie zawinięty w jakiś ręcznik? A nad nim jakieś metalowe dziwolągi.
Mam:
Organ transplant, moving an organ from one body to another...
Transplanting a plant from one location to another...
A transplant experiment, a type of experiment where an organism is moved from one location to another...
Transplants, an American band, or their self-titled album...
Za duży wybór. Co Autor miał na myśli? Żeby coś podpowiedział, ale nie... No words. Lakoniczny się nagle zrobił, jego mać.
A potem ludziska mają pretensje, ze się do niego dowalam, ale powiedzcie szczerze co z takim zrobić?
Poddaje się.
And the winner of makak isssss.... Polonaise.
Now, that's powerful - whoever (s)he is, the person seems indeed "transplanted" in this decor, lost in her thoughts about another world or about the difficulties to cope in this present one... My eyes are inevitably drawn towards this bent, dwarfed, a bit lost, alien person - she does not fit in the surroundings and your photo makes that absolutely clear. Unusual framing, but very fitting to express the (probably painful) "transplant"...
"No words" necessary, indeed...
Great. I like it a lot.
A photo with a meaningful message.
Have a good day,
Regards from sunny Brussels,
Cath.
(NB : "transplanted", like you typed in the frame, is a bit milder than the above title IMO)
(PS : I just saw the link now : yes, that's what I had in mind, but there she is in her natural environment - and congratulations for the WS too !!)
hello george
i don't know even where to start... amazing picture, especially once one sees the other foto (the one by adam). i don't think, this fofo needs many words on my part either. truly amazing! i bow my head too...
kristaps
ps. and how did you come up with this juxtaposition? luck? anticipation and planning?
one of your best, I'd say. scary pile of metal in background, it looks like a mechanical shark, and I'm sure the person feels like a rejected organ. unsuccessful transplant, I'm afraid.
take care,
K.
Medieval refugee in the postmodern matrix. Get that peasant a carburetor and a fuel cell. Let her drive her culture into the future. Should she not circulate as commerce like the rest of us? Should she not be clad in titanium like a child of the new millennium? Are not the riches of the cobalt mines and the fiber skeins and the junk metal highway hers as well? Give her a turbine, that frail old relic, and let us hear her whir.
Best, -Hugh

George...oh, what a strong, hard, impressive photo. No, I have no words. Oh, yes, I have one or two: great Polonaise! Ciao, A.P.

I can't believe this! What a strange, strange, "assemblage"... There are sometimes - not that often though, those little, strange, out-of-this-world, unusual moments... when we just can't believe our eyes. A combination of elements that can't be expected... that are not supposed to exist together... I think one has to be aware of what is going on outside of him/her to see these peculiar moments... But to photography them is even more rare... A precious gift you have...
That woman, with her scarf, that we could see in other countries without any surprise, sandwiches between an old car (what a model!) and the new cars of modern era... Unbelievable!
Incredible photography...
Claire
Just saw the second view in the WS... Almost as amazing as this one...

Hi George,
Really strange. Very long look was needed to understand what is going on. And then comes the fun part thinking about you lying under that car with your camera spying the lady. That's art!

Hi George,
That's another excellent, and dark, B&W picture with real magic mood to it. Meanwhile, I can recognise your work, your touch ... :o))
Cheers
Marc
