At the Savannah City Hall, the South is rising again.

This is a real personl, not a statue. See the Workshop for your, er, edification.

Is this a real person up there ?
Because - if it is, this is a hit of the day !!!

What the heck...
Even if this is a part of some decorative element (these southeners, gee !!!) - it's still a hit.
Well, not the hit of the day, but, let's say - the hit of a lunch time.

Naah...It must be a living person.. Is it, Hugh ?
These tool pouches around his hips and stuff...

Great !

Hello Hugh,
Until I read George's questions, and your answer, I though this was a decorative statue on top of that building! Now that I know it's a real man, I am even more impressed. :-) The silhouette effect is wonderful, and you caught the perfect moment, when the pole being raised is perpendicular to the others. Nice lines, and the curve of the dome compliments them well.

Fantastic, Hugh. I also understood this one only after seeing the WS. Excellent crop, the sphere on the left contrasts well with the patterns on the right... And then, what an action shot this is! Art created out of everyday life. Like it very much.

Cheers
Alexander

Like the silhouette. Rise of the dixieland, eh? Very well composed, somewhat ecclesiastical. The mast at the bottom right could be cropped, I think.

Best
