This image was shot at the Tybee Dock. The little bird walking along there is a kind of sand piper. They are very shy and difficult to photo up close. However, the way they run is quite comical (at least to me.) I only have gotten one decent up close shot which I will post soon. The was during one of the many glorious sunrises that I have had the pleasure of experiancing at Tybee. No major post manipulation.

Sometimes it's worth to get up early,
your pict is very relaxing, exellent sharpness an color, and pleasant bird that makes the whole thing.

Nice perspective on the pier and the repetition of shapes gives a strong graphic impact. The bird brings life into the picture and I think it lifts the quality of the picture a lot even if he is just a small detail in the frame.
