Homosassa River Photo

Photographer’s Note

Well, that old country backroad finally took us to the town of Homosassa, Florida. Then, we got in a boat and went up river to Homosassa Springs. The afternoon was turning into evening making for some nice light.

From the pictures I took, this one jumped out at me right from the LCD screen because of the geometry. I think I found the Golden Angle on this one.

You have a nice triangle in the reflected light which is balanced by the strong sky.

This is a beautiful photo with incredible light. I can see how it jumped out at you from the beginning. There is a lot of movement in the clouds as well as the trees, and it all seems to be going to the small point between the trees and the river and the sky. Really well done. I'm quite curious about what type of pp you did on this because the colors are really wonderful.
