Photographer’s Note
The Gonzales-Alvarez House is the oldest surviving Spanish Colonial dwelling in Florida, continuously occupied since the early 1600's.
The first house was a crude building of logs and boards that was replaced by a building made of coquina stone (wich is a native shell stone) in the early 1700.
The original walls of the ancient house now form part of today's Oldest House bought for the St Augustine Historical Society in 1918.

Hello Robert,
really interesting this mix of Spanish and something else: the door and the windows has a different air, but in 400 years there is space for influences...

Hello Robert,
The design is actually quite modern as I have seen modern houses similar to this one exterior wise!
Good point of view and fine details, and I notice the shades from the different flags...
That Nikon of yours delivers rich colours, possibly by help from a pola filter..!
Greetings,
