Photographer’s Note
Viscaya was home to James Deering and large staff that managed the estate in the winter months from 1916 to 1925, then he died.
He was the Vice President of the International Harvester Company wich produced agricultural equipment for the worldwide market.
The house was intended to appear as an Italian estate that had stood for 400 years and renovated by several generations of legatees.
It has 34 decorated rooms with 15th through 19th century antique furnishings and art object, and of course, elaborate gardens.
Bought by Dade County in 1952 as a public museum in perpetuity.

Hello Robert,
This is an elegant composition, with the majestic stairs leading into the scene!
The mansion stands well in the frame, with good architectural details...
Great light and fine dynamics!
Greetings,

Hi Robert. you really are able to make stone speak. Elegant and beautifully textured composition. The crisp light and the almost clear blue sky make the place vibrant and inviting. Deliberately "aged". Interesting idea and successful in this case.My compliments on a fine capture. Regards. Klaudio.

Bonjour Robert!
Amicalement.
Marie Louise.

Hello Roberto!
Beautiful picture with perfect sharpness, exposure, depth of field and natural colors!
The pov was extremely well chosen and the composition is quite good! A place in the States that looks like Venice and seems to be pretty pleasant!
TFS - congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

Hi Robert,
As you wrote this mansion is in the U.S. I have to trust you, otherwise it looks very much European. The stairs add DOF to your picture, while the green of the palm trees set a nice contrast to the gray of the stones. The Palace like mansion is a real highlight with some Venetian touch. Sharpness is perfect, so what to say, well done
Best regards
Urs
