Photographer’s Note

This was taken near sunset on a hazy day at Howard Park Beach in Tarpon Springs, Florida. I liked how the sand, water and sky were all similar in color, but the scene was punctuated by the colors in the chairs and the woman on the beach. Cropped, levels adjusted, sharpened.

Nice scene Robert - there's nothing like a good walk on the beach at the end of the day... The light is a little off but the colors and textures are still good, and I like the easy-going atmosphere here.

Well seen view. There's something off balance to me, I think the not enough sky, but otherwise, a neat presentation. :o)

Agree with Michelle: there is something disturbing in this otherwise very pleasing picture of calm relaxed atmosphere (in this equally agree with Liora). But for me it is not lack of sky, but rather, I guess, disbalance of the placement of colorful elements - all they are on the bottom and right side. Maybe a different angle would be better. However, this is a very minor flaw if compared with overall quality, harmonic expression of the picture.
