Photographer’s Note

Normally I don't like to take pictures of strangers, but this couple came and stood in front of us as the sun was setting. I was taking pictures, they happened to be in the way, and it turned out well. Apologies for the cheesy advertisement looking photo :-) it was a lovely sunset.

This is a great sunset photo. It looks like an advertisement for a tropical resort. Your have captured a wonderful sky with outstanding colors.

hi laura

i'm having flashes of an infomercial for a cd of love songs. with a whole bunch of cheesy love songs scrolling up the screen, with this picture in the background. how deep is your love? well, as deep as the sunset colours you've managed here. a fine postcardesque composition... nice

Well, sunsets are a bit overdone, I suppose, but this one is fresh because of that extraordiary horizontally striped composition. Even the sky is being cooperative, filling in the top of the frame with a strong dark blue. The couple are almost too good to be true, Just the right pose and placed well to the left of center. It's a fun picture. regards Kevin

Great shot. The composition is wonderful, and the golden clouds right at the top are striking and gorgeous. The tinted clouds defining the sun are also lovely. tfs
