Photographer’s Note

Lido Beach is one of the islands of Sarasota.

There were lots of families vacationing and children playing in the warm gulf water.

Besides beaches and water sports, St. Armands Circle starts the island. It has lot's of places to eat and boutique shopping. It was originally designed by John Ringling of circus fame.

Hello Mary Beth -

I am amazed you have not had a comment on this image. It is an attractive sunset scene, but the FG is just a bit too much in the dark. Try adding a Shadows and Highlight layer and open the FG just a touch so we can a hint of detail in the children. You may have to lower the opacity of the layer or use a layer mask to tone back the sky.

Hi Mary, one of the most beautiful and also peaceful sunset photos I've seen recently. Not only the skyscape, but also the reflection of the sun over the wet sand loook wonderful. Regards, Tolga
