XMAS EVE !

Last moments of sunlight during Xmas Eve were spent by the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, by this beautiful pier, in Naples (southwestern Florida), enjoying the beauty and the charm of all those details around!

Hello Neyvan,

Some of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen are in Florida, and you've captured one of those golden marvels. With the massive boardwalk converging into the distance, and the child playing in the sand, this is superb composition.

Lovely work Neyvan. Very different from my pier shots in terms of light and time of day but similar in the activities son and around the pier. Love the inclusion of the little fellow on the left having fun and dad carrying a child on his shoulder. Lovely colours in this harmonious image. best wishes. Klaudio.

nice the view of the light during Xmas Eve,with the colours and the light management to make the image so effective and unique.I like the existence of the people that are on the jetty and taking photos during the sunset.

altra bella cattura, una bellissima diagonale animata dalle molte persone. Le sfumature del cielo sono molto belle ed è piacevole il bambino che gioca in primo piano.

Hello Neyvan,
The sun sets mainly behind the clouds but the light and the colours are beautifully reflected in the Gulf of Mexico.
Very nice with the silhouettes of the long pier and the people in the water.

what a nice thought Xmas in a warm climate and on a beach. The light here makes this excellent composition so appealing with the human element adding that little extra touch of atmosphere. Delightful image!

Hello Neyvan,
it is difficult to explain why this shot works so well for me. Of course the colors are great and you composed everything in very attractive wholeness, but there is something else which I cannot nail. My eye keeps wandering around and comes back to the little boy playing on the beach - such a small figure and so attention grabbing.

Hi Neyvan,

Light management id excellent here, and the silhouettes, together with the birds on the sky, and little details like the boy playing on the beach, makes this an interesting composition.

I like the golden tones of this sunset over the pier which is almost in silhouette. Very warm and pleasing view in difficult light. Well done.

Oi Ney,
Ainda não tinha visto esta foto que ficou uma beleza. Os tons de dourado e a beleza deste pier, bem colocado na composição, resultaram numa imagem muito agradável. Gostei de ver também as crianças e familias dando um toque especial à cena. Gostei também da plasticidade do céu( às vezes temos que reparar se não é necessário usar o filtro de ruído do photoshop ou do photoscape(gratuito), que também é muito bom).

Fabulous golden tone prevailed this seascape image.
The wooden pier added excelent DOF whenstretched out to the ocean, people stroill upon also taking photos.

Hi Ney,

I like the concept here, going with a predominately yellow cast and exposing for the highlights to create a thorough silhouette effect. The composition is very well done to create a nice lead in with the pier and have the huts at the end for a strong anchor point. I assume there are plenty of gorgeous sunsets in Florida, and you did well to catch this one for a fine display of man and natures beauty. It's lively and the atmosphere is felt with this shot. Nicely done!

que bonita esta, com a silhueta da estrutura do pier adicionando grafismo à compo e os personagens bem colocados, um monte deles, o bebê com a prancha no primeiro plano ficou bem bacana, bem como os pássaros.
