Hola Maryori,

Hi Maryori, this is fabulously composed with such superlative use of the sunlight and its hues. I like the silhouette that forms. Nice work

Hola Maryori.
Muy buena composición, la silueta de la gaviota con los yates muy bien iluminados hacen un interesante contraste. Me gusta el reflejo, los colores y tu encuadre.
Abrazos.

Hello Kitty,
Since when you become a cat woman and a photographer too. Instead of chasing the bird like most cats do, you captured one. Up close and personal. I like the warm light, funny how you the surface where the bird is standing on is level, yet the background is tilted. That doesn't bother me, just an observation. I have way too many tilted pictures to complain about someone elses, I'm just glad someone else does it too. Even when I hang my picture, they are tilted. Your note is true but seem a bit sad and discontent. Hope all is fine. Take a vacation, fly, go somewhere. Have fun.

hi Maryori
So your thought was on flying free at this moment of shot? No options for Borneo?
I see you were close to the bird without frightening it away. Interesting that you had to level the camera according to the edge below the bird, instead of choosing the horizon or land at far end. Because for me, sometimes the straight edge at near end to the camera can be very misleading due to optical distortion. So it is never wrong to base it on horizon or distant level of the land/water.
Nice work.

Hola Parcerita!
una toma original, gran composicion y encuadre, parte de la foto en plena luz, y otro en sombra, gran "juego" con la silueta del pajaro en primer plano, y muy bellos colores calidos en el fondo! gran enfoque y campo de profundidad! Felicidades!
Un saludo,
Tu madurito

Hi Maryori
no matter the tilting horizon, I like your pic because of the contrast between the silhouetted bird in the foreground and the warm light on the boats in the background. A well studied pic, well done!
Have a nice day,
Rikk

Hola Maryori,
There is an 'innate' feeling from your end that makes this image creative, expressive between the actuality of the world we all live in. The difficulty of self expressive may be elusive and difficult to capture during decisive moments. The capture while we walk or sit around calls for self-determination, in search for that 'hunt' that we can relate to the surrounding into an image.
Birds are blessed with freedom so does Man. Though we are blessed differently as we carry on our daily lives. We follow what comes within and sometimes we live by choices we make. Those quiet reflections, wishful thoughts...no one could tell coz we are humans. Who wouldn't wish to fly but on second thought I remember a famous quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
It is in this sense that street photography has its purity specially when it comes from the heart.
Be well and Have A Great Weekend!
Always ;)
