Pond At Dusk Photo

Photographer’s Note

A small pond near the Shingle Creek. The so called "Beauty Hour" by some fashion photographers (after sunset) where there is no more intense but softer light. as a result and because of the setting sun on the oposite side it was possible to get both a colorful background and some blue sky "leftover" , also decent foreground detail.

Hello Morris -

Only four comments, I am vary surprised. This is a very nice image with nice reflections in the pond. You are right, the period of time just after sunset is wonderful. I like the composition a lot but the reeds in the foreground seem to be a little too much. I am looking at this on a laptop so the rendering of images is not a precise as my desktop so this all could be a function of my equipment. Exposure looks to spot on the money with a nice DOF. Well done!
