While visiting Florida last February (2014), we had just time enough to go all the way to Key West at the southernmost tip of the Florida peninsula. We were pushing the time to get back to our motel up coast. As we turned a corner, there it was. As you can see from my fascination with these old relics, I just had to stop and give it a try. This light is right in the middle of town and very accessible. It is also lit beautifully at night.

Fine view of the Key West Lighthouse at night, surrounded by tree silhouettes.
Not a tall lighthouse, but then Florida's flat coast does not require big ones.

Beautiful nightshot, good presentation for this lighthouse even the bluenight sky is a bit noisy, just a little detail.
