The Bull and Whistle Bar, located at the corner of Duval and Caroline Streets in Key West Florida, is the last of the old-time Duval Street open-air bars.
The Bull is open 7 days a week featuring a rotation of great live entertainment and an atmosphere that brings you back to the heart of Old Town Key West!
The building has 3 different bars, one on each floor. The Bull is on the ground floor, The Whistle on the second floor and the Garden of Eden on the roof.

Hello Asa - a notable location for sure! amazing to see all of that green life atop this building, especially when there's so little in the bustling town below. A shame about all of those wires; I still don't know why more towns and cities around the world refuse to bury them! It's safer AND more visually pleasing... until then, photographers everywhere will make do!

great post for TE!
excellent note too, describing this bar so well.
very cool to have 3 different bars on the various levels.
I like how the building is on the corner too, and the trees up top are like the icing on the cake.

The composition is well divided, the sky, the building and the street. The point of view is showing a double perspective of the architecture of the Bull and Whistle. The good luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

A cracking shot.

A bar with three levels sounds interesting.
In this sunshine, I think I will opt for the Garden of Eden!
A great street scene, with sharp details and two avenues to explore. You have controlled the light well, no evidence of oe on those white facades.
Nice to see you back.

That roof terrace certainly seems to be a Garden of Eden.
At daytime that garden looks very colourful and at night it must be a great place to have a drink under the tropical sky.
Taken from a good angle!
Other interesting wooden buildings at both sides of the bar.
Best regards, Paul

Quel beau coin de rue. Très typique de la Floride. J'aime beaucoup le point de vue qui nous permet d'admirer la terrasse sur le toit qui est vraiment spectaculaire.

Lots of greenery on the top floor which adds a nice tropical look. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. I like the angled pov and the lack of heavy vehicular traffic. The people on the sidewalk add scale. Tfs!

That is very inviting place! I like the mix of English pub feeling on the name and definitely Caribbean architecture. And the top floor looks just wonderful!
Kye West is certainly on the list of places I'd like to visit some day.

I like the symmetry in this photo. Taken from a good POV, it is sharp & interesting to look at.
PS. I think the seeming right tilt in the photo you critiqued is due to lens distortion. I posted a WS photo about it.
