This bird stopped at a bird sanctuary for rest. The nonprofit sanctuary is managed by local veterinarians in Key Largo, Florida. The birds were often recovering from injuries.

Was it possible to get a lower POV? Photographing from a bird's eye level yields a visually stronger image. You may not have been able to because of restrictions at the site. Try getting down lower next time. You could try a horizontal format, with the bird walking toward the center. I hope this helps, I know I appreciate any kind of feedback myself.
