The Roy Hobbs World Series is a baseball tournament held in Fort Myers, Florida every year. Teams come from all over the country to compete for the championship of their particular age group. There are several age groups competing, the youngest being over-28 and the oldest is over-65. The tournament is named after Robert Redford's character in the movie "The Natural" where Redford portrayed an aging ball player who eventually became the hero amongst his younger teammates, proving that you are never too old to play the game of baseball.

Ouch! Nobody over 28 years of age should be allowed to slide head first. Why isn't there anyone sitting in the stands?

PS: after half a year on TE I still admire the rules you set up in your intro. Only thing is, that my doctor says, that popcorn coming out of a microwave energetically are like styrofoam.

What a view and what a shot!
Great low point of view, so that we can see how the gravel is flying away. What a capture, really a good freeze. I like the details in the back, they make this picture even more interesting.
