Today is fun photo Saturday.

Every year in October and November there is a baseball tournament I photograph in Fort Myers. Though most of the tournament features men's teams every once in a while a division of women's teams play for a championship all their own. The women's division is open to players 16 years of age and older.

This photo was taken just before the start of an inning but with the lighting the way it is, the expression on the young lady's face and a little breeze to make her hair move a bit it really looks like it could be from fashion photo shoot. Maybe the special baseball edition of Vogue.

Gregory, this one reminded me of myself playing softball as a teenager. I can feel the spirit just by looking at this picture and Baseball/Softball Vouge sounds really good too. Nice one, thanks!

Hi Gregory. Nice shot showing us a fit young woman with the flush of youth on her face.Beautiful use of light and an excellent capture of her stance and riveting glance. Not the usual "profile" of an American which these days seems to be more often than not corpulent if one watches sitcoms and legal and medical talk-back shows.Regards. Klaudio.

Pretty much the perfect catcher pose here, Gregory, but seeing the hair blowing in the wind like that is therefore a bit unexpected. Nice action portrait, and a look of strong intensity on her face.

A stunning and unusual baseball piture. I like the way she is standing, relax, hair in the wind, and also the round dots at the dark background.
hats off.
Wht's the use of a flash gun in this situation? For me she is too far away.
