Photographer’s Note

Hundreds of intercoastal waterways and canals line the coast of Fort Lauderdale. Since Florida is almost at sea level and a lot of land has been reclaimed, these waterways help to keep us dry! This photo shows one of these waterways and boats on Las Olas Boulevard catching the last few rays of the sun. Today the house on the left is no longer there, and it has probably been re-developed into some fancy condominim or hotel.

This was my first panoramic stitch and as you can see from the number of panoramas in my collection, this picture encouraged me to keep trying! There is a little imperfection in the stitch at the bottom right which I tried to fix with the "healing tool" but the result was not perfect. I preferred to leave the imperfection in rather than crop out the lower part of the picture.

This panorama looks better full size, please click on the photo to see a larger version. Your suggestions on how I could improve this are welcome.
