Great Egret in breeding season displays long lacy plumes on its back.
Patient fisherman, but will also feed in grassy areas on insects and anoles.
The White Ibis (right) is gregarious. It probes for crustaceans in shallow ponds and edges.

Beautiful birds and such a lush green environment they inhabit. The colors and details to this photo are first rate.

Boy, I'm really glad that you got rid of those nasty alligators. This post is so much more nice to look at. No dangers here, or shall I say the only danger is to get addicted to this perfect compostion of these two birds and flowers framing the image? Really nice come back, Robert.

Seldom to see two big birds like these in the same frame!
Good exposure gives pleasant details in the white plumage, I also like the lush setting where they appear...
Well composed with an interesting eye to eye diagonal!

Ils sont magnifiques ces oiseaux blancs et c'est super comme composition avec la clôture en zigzag et les jolie fleurs en avant-plan. Belle prise de vue.
Félicitations!... et bonne soirée,

A bit different from each other, Robert, but nevertheless beautiful birds.
Watching Egrets in our yarkon river here, i came to realize they do not fear human presence and know they maybe will be granted with leftovers.
Nice POV to show the birds beaty, excelent contrast to the green surroundings.
Enjoy a nice weekend.
