Photographer’s Note

taken in daytona beach fla....while standing on the board walk....i liked the way the light played from behind the clouds.just a good simple shot..what do you think? feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Hello Kevin.
I really do like the simple nature of the photo. The star burst of light behind the photo is, well almost angelic (not to be too cliche). The rays of light spreading up and out from behind the cloud was captured very well. It is difficult here on TE sometimes, you may not get a response to a fine shot. There are so many to look at.
One note and some feedback. One thing that helps in shots like this is an object in the foreground. This gives depth to the photo and adds another dimension. It can be hard when taking a shot of the sky, but sometimes getting down very low will give you something to put in the frame. I really like simple and almost spare shots, and your is very pure. This might be a reason why it hasn't received more attention.
