The guests had arrived, the bride and groom were in the church, the photographers were gathered, excitment and tension filled the air. But not for this little bridesmaid concentrating on counting the cracks, not stepping on the lines, or not touching the white pavement. Suddenly her mother calls, "Hurry up!" the spell is broken and she is back in the real world.

Hello Elaine. What a great shot, wonderful composition. This little girl in white reaaly stands out in the sea of bricks. well done.

I think that the elongated format of the photo stressses the steps that the bridesmaid has to take to get to the ceremony, very nice symbol, I like the strong red colours behind.

Hi Elaine, I feel this image has something sad about it, almost as if this little princess is excluded from the ball. She is very caught up in her own little world, which makes it very charming at the same time to look at. The image gives a very strong message.
The composition is great and the red colour and structure of the bricks is strong. Very good work! Sabine

All this redcompartimented! again red this piece of material around her body, it's a little bit opressing.
Often, kids seem to be somewhere, not in adult's world, forgiving for a moment all what is around; generally for a short time, real freedom moments and spaces become smaller and smaller for them; personnal view...

Splendid shot full of feelings, Elaine, it reminds me of some top US photograpfers like Tom Eagleston.
Very powerful, evocative capture. You have a great eye and not just fr golden lit monks either!

She does need to hurry, she's not getting married.
Very melancholy look. The repeated pattern from the brick wall emphasizes the effetc.
I wonder what the photo will look like with the little girl far on the left or far on the right?

Lovely picture, her white dress looking great with the Bricks in the BG. And I also like the panoramic view of this picture.

Great shot! I love the concentration and focus she has written all over her little face. Nice work! Really nice composition, I love how you have inlcuded the long sidewalk and brick wall in front of the church, it gives a feeling of the big picture.
Thanks for sharing,
P.S. Good contrast with Little Bored Bridesmaid posted by Sherrish.

The girl is so cute. It is nice to contrast her with the background. Good capture of the girl and the surrounding.
