Photographer's Note
This scene is from the Thomas Jefferson Library of Congress in Washington D.C. Works of art, sculpture, mosaics, marble and more books than any other library in the world , are featured here! Finished in 1897, it is a work of art in itself, inside and out. We saw the Gutenberg and Mains Bible, ancient literature and documents ( Abraham Lincolns Bible) and Thomas Jefferson's personal library from Monticello. Such a marvel to see for your own eyes!

Hello Susu,
I agree wholeheartedly with you, that the Library of Congress has to be seen in real life. While a student in the distant past, I spent many hours under the dome where books would be delivered for readers to study. My favorite visit of all was when I saw the actual compositions in Beethoven's hand of several of his masterpieces, all on exhibition behind glass. With your succinct but informative note, I am happy to see this package submitted to Trekearth.
I just posted the first of a series photos from the Chihuli Exhibition. Thank you for inspiring me to post them with your own photo of the show.
Have a good Sunday,
Bulent
