Photographer's Note
While visiting Arlington Cemetery in Washington D.C. to see the Changing of the Guard we got to witness a Wreath Laying Ceremony with representative units of all of the U.S.A. military. At the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on this day, the Minister of Defense of Iraq placed a wreath for those who died in service. It was very moving and an unexpected surprise event for my children and I.

Hello, I saw your theme about iconic americana and the other one too. This particular photo really captured my attention in part because I have visited it too. I think your point of view is very poignant and helps to exemplify the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
TFS and keep taking photos, they are good in a unique way,
Karen
