Photographer’s Note
This is a picture of a very large drill press on display in the machine shop of the Hagley Museum in Deleware. The drill press, as with all of the other machines in the shop, is roughly a hundred years old and in working condition. Demonstrations of many of the machines are regularly given throughout the day. The drill press is driven by a leather belt (visible behind the press on the right), which in turn is driven by an electric motor (although originally it was powered by a water wheel).
The Hagley museum is largely devoted to the history of the E.I. DuPont's gunpowder works and has numerous restored buildings showing the life and work of the gunpowder works at the time. Worth a visit if you are interested in the history of American industry.

Beautiful picture with a good manage of the ambient light. It seems that you haven't used any flash and it's permits to let the fuzzy light coming from the two windows to increase details of this press. Tones are beautiful and suit very well to this subject. Well done !
And welcome to TE !
