Dry Run Creek is fed from the North Fork National Fish Hatchery.
This is a shot showing normal flow.
We have been having near historic floods. In 1982 this area flooded and it was considered a 500 year flood. On March 19 2008 the area flooded to just a foot below the 1982 level. We have sunshine for the moment, but the ground is saturated and there is potential for the rise to beat the 1982 level.
Here is a youtube video from just after the March 19 rise of a
Calico Rock house going under bridge. |
